Piano Technology Assistantship Openings for Fall 2019
College of Music at Florida State University
The College of Music at Florida State University is pleased to announce two assistantship openings in Piano Technology for Fall 2019. Recipients of these awards will receive a full tuition waiver for four semesters of study as well as an $13,500+ annual stipend.
Qualified candidates will have completed a Certificate in Piano Technology Study and hold an undergraduate degree in music. The Master of Arts with emphasis in Piano Technology, the only one of its kind in the United States, is a two-year, full-time degree program. This program provides advanced, graduate level training in piano technology and develops students' experiences within one of the most comprehensive music colleges in the country. Advanced Study within the program includes action geometry analysis, diagnostics, and resolution; concert voicing; and restoration techniques.
